Hello all, my name is Marty, I was brought up in a "poor" family on a farm not really knowing we were poor. My father did his best to provide for the family from his land. He landed a great job when I was 10 years old and it was off to the city.....

I have always held that part of my life close to my heart .... Gardens maybe a chicken or two.... Seeing a pending food crises coming with the food and energy prices going up and being sick of listening to all the crap on the news and talk radio I went looking for a solution ..... Found a 5 day a week pod-cast called "The Survival Podcast" and that's where Jack Spirko turned me on to Permaculture and Geoff Lawton !

I have just finished my on-line P.D.C. with Geoff Lawton ! I am working on my design exercise now. My plan is to change as many minds as possible here in S.E. Michigan that we are all doing "IT" wrong ... And to transform my loved ones life's into a state of food security !

I look forward to an ongoing learning experience with all of you other "permies"
