From an introduction to Permaculture by Jack Spirko's Survival Podcast, I have found a deep connection with the simplicity of the concepts of Permaculture. The three Ethics and the Principles have become part of my life and I try to make decisions based on the long term repercussions to future generations.
I am very interested in Urban Food Forestry and am working at making this a part-time career, eventually hoping to become full-time. Natural building, alternative heating and earthworks also excite me. I also love fishing for salmon, hunt for deer, forage wild mushrooms and berries, build traditional archery equipment and read a variety of books.
My goal for the future is to assist as many folks who will allow me to build resiliency and independence from systems that are destined to fail them when they need those systems the most!
