Elaine Codling has a BA Socio-Cultural Anthropolgy [1992]. She has more than 20 years experience in the Natural Food Industry including 10yrs of management. She has worked as a nutritional consultant and herbalist since 1994. She has more than 25 years experience gardening organically and has taken courses in organic gardening, soil biology and composting.

She has had a life long interest in ecology, self sufficiency and sustainable living. Extensive reading in appropriate technology, environmental design and atlernative building techniques lead to the discovery of permaculture in 2008. She completed her PDC in July of 2010 and did an internship program at PRI Australia April 2011.

Current interests include human scale development; food security, community; bioremediation and restorative agriculture; fermentation for human nutrition and soil building; fibre arts and textiles.
