In a previous life I was a police officer. Now I am a stay at home Dad looking for a new direction.

I stumbled across permaculture when I became interested in aquaponics. I saw some drawbacks to the various models being touted and as I researched for a better model I found permaculture. I started looking for courses and realized Geoff Lawton was "just up the road." Due to time restraints I was unable to attend a PDC. Then the online course opened up.

I am currently looking to expand my knowledge and implement what I have learned on the Online PDC 2013 in my own backyard. I also plan on doing designs on my friends and relatives places for the practice. I have grand plans for community gardens and so forth but have to stay grounded and build up so momentum.
