I have always loved and been interested in wildlife ecology, playing out in nature, sustainable communities and business. So I changed careers. Permaculture and Horticulture was the solution. I just love how everything is connected and I love life and ecology.

Permaculture came into my life through personal investigations into history, philosophy and politics during my last years at university (2007-2008). Been on a personal development journey applying permaculture ever since.

I currently run my small permaculture based business, van Veen Organics. Offering permaculture products and services for clients. We are located in between north Brisbane and southern Sunshine Coast, QLD.

In 2015 I started a local permaculture group, Caboolture & Surrounds Permaculture Group, who meet once a month locally which acts as a platform for like minded people to connect and share.
