Hi, I'm Mike. I am from Florida, and I am currently working as a boat captain in the Gulf of Mexico. I grew up in the panhandle of Florida hunting, fishing, sailing, surfing, and enjoying this wonderful part of the world.
I first learned of Permaculture from Jack Spirko on his show, The Survival Podcast. I was intrigued by the subject, so I began studying it from books, videos, and the web. When Geoff Lawton offered an online PDC, I jumped at the opportunity to learn from an amazing teacher on a flexible schedule.
Since then I have been continuing my studies and working towards eventually becoming a consultant and teacher.
I recently took an Earthworks course. I'd like to share a bit about it.
