This course is designed to give a solid understanding of the principles and practices of permaculture, specifically for cool climate settings. It draws on a wealth of local experience and knowledge in permaculture from its origins with the co-founder of the permaculture movement, David Holmgren, along with many other experienced practitioners - from designers, environmental activists, farmers and teachers. It draws upon its unique setting at the beautiful Satyananda Yoga Ashram to incorporate yoga practice and meditation into permaculture teachings.
