I just completed an excellent forest gardening / food forestry course with the Agroforestry Research Trust over three (what turned out to be a very sunny) days in Devon, UK.

Taught by the man who (literally) wrote the book on temperate forest gardens; Martin Crawford, it was a fantastically informative and inspiring few days learning about not just how to design, grow and maintain your own forest garden but also about a wide variey of unusual fruit trees, edible shrubs, perennial vegetable and tree crops.
