(projects i'm involved in)
(projects i'm following)
My work background spans a broad range of business communications disciplines (corporate communications, pr, brand development, marketing & online/social media); mainly for large corporates and forward-thinking consultancies. I have also studied several alternative healing modalities.
I became involved in permaculture after much reading and researching convinced me that it is the most critical skill we can learn and share.
My appreciation is also founded in a desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those around me, preferably while enjoying great food.
As I embark on this new chapter, I'm already successfuly applying my skills to supporting and promoting ethical businesses and projects. I help businesses prosper through collaboration to create or position their brand for maximum impact; developping messages that attract potential customers and influencers; creating content to increase google visibility; and engaging with traditional and online media to generate publicity, including training clients on how to shine in media interviews.
I've also started designing a home and garden on my 1/2 acre off grid block. As my experience increases I look forward to designing more small scale projects using permaculture principles.
More credible insight and commentary from the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the right to food. I welcome his highlighting of soil and water as well as the importance of smallholders to 'most urgently accommodate democratically-mandated visions
A highly-promising development out of Japan: a corporation called Blest has developped a home-scale plastic to oil converter. Through the process 1kg of plastics yields 1 litre of oil.
Courageous city-dwellers critical to address & resolve complex natural and human-system problems
