The Permaculture Design introduction course offers positive solutions for creating and managing sustainable food systems. Students will learn how to minimize work and maximize yields in a hands on learning environment. We'll build a fast composting system, a drying oven, plant a food forest,  see and learn how to build a vermiculture system and much more. Part of the time will be spent working beside Dominican farmers in order to understand the world in which they live, experience the essence of Eco-immersion.  Some topics include:Innovative Solutions for Sustainability, Permaculture ethics and Principles, Methods of Design -Patterns & Zones, and Experience the meaning of Giving back and paying it forward.
