Well its official, we are off the grid for electricty, it wasnt the way we had planned and regaurdelss its all apart of the adventure.
We now have a 2.8kw solar Thinfilm state of the art C.I.G.S solar panels installed, a set of lifetime batteries, edison cells, nickel iron or Nife Cells they can be called. Do your reseach on them, You will nevr buy anothers et of batteries in your life again once you truly understand there true potenial. We are also about to intall our wind turbine which will be our energy production when the sun is not out.
We have had servcal days of rain this week and I honestly have been a bit nervous adn I have a small solar systme that used to ower my garage which I have as a back up, crazy hey a solar back up for my solar system.
One thing that is great out of all of it, its all guilt free living! 24hoursolarpower!
