I am ecologist with over 25 years experience in research and natural resource management. My focus for the last 8 years has been using my expertise in agroecology, organic farming and permaculture to regenerate a small farm, create a demonstration site and small residential education center providing courses to help us work with nature.
I have changed a monoculture pasture of competitive African tropical grasses into ecologically and structurally diverse low maintenance food production systems. These include the self-mulching banana plantation and orchard, unique poultry forage food forests, and grazing mimicking the Serengeti Plains of Africa.
