I come from a background in creative arts but the land and how I live with it has always been a passion passed on from my family.

I was looking for a fresh start after my daughter went off to uni and participated in a local PDC with John Champagne, David Holmgren and Hugh Gravestein. John then became my friend, teacher and mentor for my permaculture change. I have been working and teaching with him and other local permaculture practioners since 2004.

In 2005 I went to Nimbin and studied for a year with Robyn Francis at her property Djanbung Gardens for a Cert 4 in Permaculture Pracitices, returning to my valley in 2006.

I look forward to teaching Accredited Permaculture one day in the mainstream educational system.

I started my own permaculture consulting and training business and have loved being a part of the conversion to the 'normal' way of life ever since.

My vision for how I deliver Permaculture training is to have local, state or national funding behind me (with a decent liveable wage) and train anyone who wants to know about a sustainable life for free. I am involved with school programs, community welfare groups and community gardens.
