Bomun is a sustainable builder and natural building instructor. He travels throughout New Zealand teaching about sustainable shelters and how to build them.
Bomun started out as a conventional home builder in Hawaii where he learned the ins and outs of building with manufactured products. Through this experience he truly learned how ecologically and financially unsustainable conventional building is.
Bomun is now dedicated to helping people move onto the land to create an abundant life in these changing times. He shows how to build homes that are much lower cost using local/natural materials and volunteer help. By eliminating the most expensive part of ones budget (mortgage or rent) energy can be focused on permaculture living instead of making so much money.
