A Texan in Spain, born to a Spanish mother and a USA father, very ecologically conscious. I am very excited to have learned about Permaculture. Hugely grateful that a man like Bill Mollison is around to give us this insight, wonderful.
I am about to starty an ecovillage Permaculture Farm School outside of Madrid, in the Valle del Tietar, around an hour outside of the city and would like people to join the initiative. People would form part of the beginning group that will establish the farm and be able to live, work, eat, make money.

I have cold weather from december (maybe november) to march (maybe april) and the hottest days are in july and august. Rain in autumn, winter and spring, hardly any in the warm season.
Cold season temps: can go down to -5 to -8 on a very cold night. daytime temps are higher.
hot temps can get up to 38ºC.
annual rainfall: around 900-1000mm. Can get a 89mm rain in one day.
