Kalon Kalman or KC, has worked in Texas in the automotive industry since 1994. KC lives in the Austin, TX area. An Austin native, he is very familiar with the Central Texas landscape, hill country and local waterways. He currently works for a GM dealer in Austin, TX and works part time as a permaculture consultant.

KC came to permaculture by listening to Jack Spirko at thesurvivalpodcast.com. KC was interested in a solutions based system to the world's growing food problem. Jack Spirko's program just so happen to offer the answer by spreading the word about permaculture. KC has always been interested in science, studying it in high school and college. KC took Geoff Lawton's Online Permaculture Course in 2013 and shortly after that sought additional training with Nicholas Burtner. Nicholas Burtner offered an Urban Permaculture Course as well as an Earthworks Course in the same month.

KC's current activities include completing his own homestead design, starting a consultancy and getting a permaculture based business off the ground and running. With his extensive business knowledge and exceptional customer care skills, he hopes to teach others to be sucessful in running a permaculture based business as well.
