I completed my PDC in March. Have been interested in gardening, landscape design, and things like herbal medicine for years. Former teacher, voice instructor, and choir director, and now a stay-at-home mom. I've lived in either Texas or Louisiana all of my life (mostly Texas).

My husband and I stumbled upon permaculture through our ongoing interest in learning to lead a more natural, sustainable, and self-sufficient lifestyle.

We recently moved to a large rural property and are now planning out all the 1001 projects we need to build or add, including earthworks, rainwater catchment, food forests, annual and perennial gardens, livestock...pretty much everything. We hope to use this site to connect with like-minded people, share our experiences, and benefit from other's knowledge and experiences.
