Today I received my first PDC certificate in the mail. I completed the final capstone design project exercise back in mid-August and Geoff Lawton and his staff must have been swamped with exercises to assess.
Anyway, the trailhead is now marked and the journey has begun. I'm currently enrolled in both the 2014 PermaEthos online Class 001 PDC as well as the Austin Permaculture Guild's Ten Saturdays in Fall 2014 PDC. The two courses are at opposite ends of the socio-political spectrum and offer new additional information not covered in Geoff Lawton's PDC and yet they all have plenty of overlap and cover the same chapters within Bill Mollison's PDC Manual. My goals are on schedule and my mind is like a swale right now, capturing and soaking it all in so that I can start spreading it next year.
