I’d like to pass along info about a terrific opportunity! The annual PDC course taught at Rancho Sol y Mar in Mexico, January 15-28, 2017 includes a free 5 day focused Practicum for the first five participants who sign up. We have launched the course website and are expecting these sites to fill quickly, so act now to secure your place!
About the Course & What Sets It Apart From All the Others Out There?
The course site, located 300 yards from one of Mexico’s most pristine, swimmable beaches, and a 15 minute walk from a charming traditional fishing village, is a truly exceptional location to both enjoy and learn.
There will be many amazing and unique aspects of this PDC, unavailable with similar course’s elsewhere, and the teaching team will be opening up their combined skill sets and experience to offer an exceptionally holistic approach. In addition to 72 hours of core Permaculture fundamentals, hands on instruction will be offered in the areas of animal care, cheese making, natural building, solar, raw food preparation, and mindfulness practice. This course location also offers a wide range of optional, extracurricular activities (snorkeling trips, sea turtle releases, guided nature hike with local herbalist, traditional Mexican cooking class, onsite Spanish classes, etc.).
About the Practicum:
This special course add-on, January 30 - Feb 3rd, 2017 is designed to allow participants to practice skills learned during the PDC and to delve deeper into concepts covered. There will be three main focus areas offered: Natural Building & Solar, Organic Food Production, Natural Foods & Nutrition (including fermenting, dehydrating, and nutrition concepts), and Mindfulness Practice. The Practicum is $495 U.S. but is included free for the first five participants to sign up!
