Its been awhile....

Strange how the ebb and flow of events in a person's life direct a course that is not even fathomed. Around about the time I took the online PDC (which I did not complete), my step father took ill. I sold my home, quit my job and went to live with my parents for 3 months to help get them sorted. Unfortunately, my step-father passed and its been a total of about a year and a half to get things sorted. Oddly, things sorted themselves rather comletely and suddenly just recently. Strangely, the parent event sorted out shortly after I had resigned myself to another 2-3 years of participating in that. Suddenly, I feel I am now able to get back on track. but completely unprepared to do so. My heart and mind float often back to my grand Australian adventure. I look to return, to complete my PDC and perhaps have a hand in a few permaculture projects. I do find joy in gardening. Especially with permacuture.

So, now that I am, more or less, on my own again. What are my next steps? At this point, I just don't know. I only recently come into this position.

I am currently working on the renovations of my Kelowna, BC townhouse. My container garden was a disater. Still, I found joy in it. I have a few pepper plants I hope to overwinter. We will see. I also have a small piece of property Creston, BC I hope to transform into my own permaculture oasis and eventually settle there. I am looking into the VERGE permaculture organization/Adaptive Habitat for assistance in planning that space. The rest is a dream. Travel, gardening and putting some good out into the world.

My renovations will take most of the rest of this year. That gives me plenty of time to plan for a next step. My next permaculture step. Perhaps a PDC course.
