So happy to be back with our 5 acres in Cali. We successfully moved everything down in our RV. We are living in Marysville which is about 30 minutes from our land. We have been able to visit almost every weekend since we've been here. I have been getting to know the land really well. I have mapped my first swale on contour with an a-frame I slapped together. I have been collecting a ton of star-thistle and sowing clover in patches. Hoping to set the first stages of ecological succession in our favour. I have some big projects planned but they require money and extra hands. I have my 2 young boys with me full-time and it will get easier eventually when they are able to be more independent on the land. Reach out if you want to visit and talk about permaculture.
