I have a background in IT and ecological architecture. More recently I've studied horticulture and, of course, permaculture. I now run an organic gardening business, work for the Permaculture Association (Britain) and help to teach on permaculture courses.

I got interested in permaculture after becoming concerned about climate change and peak oil a few years ago. I did a PDC in my home town and discovered that the national Permaculture Association is also based here.

In my work for the Association I'm supporting the development of teaching materials and our overall education strategy. I help to run events and manage a group visit scheme to promote permaculture to other groups. I am also currently helping to build an ecological co-housing project here in Leeds and working to develop a supportive network for permaculture teachers across Europe. I hope to complete my diploma soon...
