Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I began my career on a small organic farm in the Catskill mountains, where my fascination with sustainable agriculture took hold. Since that time, I've lived in a half dozen countries working with communities to find sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty through permaculture.
