(projects i'm following)
I grew up in the south east of England, becoming very involved in political activism at university. I then become interested in Permaculture as a way of changing the world more holistically. I went on to help set up the Steward Community Woodland eco community in Devon, where I lived, designed and created between 2000 and 2007.
I did my PDC in 1998, completed my Permaculture Diploma in 2007 (through the Permaculture Association of Great Britain), and have been teaching PDCs and Introduction to Permaculture weekends around Europe since then. I also consult for land projects, organisations and intentional communities. I am a UK Diploma tutor, and also lead 'People and Permaculture' courses around the world.
I am highly inspired by the work of the 8 Shields Institute - exploring culture repair, nature connection and leadership, based on learning from 'old growth' land connected human cultures around the world. I write Permaculture songs, and love to travel, learn and teach internationally.
