Raised in the heartland on the U.S. Justin currently lives in Boulder, Colorado where he is the proud owner of an eco-friendly apparel company. After a five year career in the NFL where he was constantly analyzing food and it's effects on the body, primarily for athletic purposes, it was not long before he realized what a huge problem our current global food system was facing. His focused then changed to a larger picture, after a series of events, he completed his PDC last year in Basalt, Colorado at the Colorado Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute (CRMPI). His appetite for hands on applications of permaculture theory immediately took him to Australia where he is currently interning under Geoff Lawton at Zaytuna Farm. From there he will be traveling to Hawaii to search for communities and land where he can grow and share his own permaculture site and experience. Please contact him if you have any permaculture connections around the Hawaiian islands.
His passions lie in teaching, designing, creating and implementing sustainable practices. He has a focus on growing and practical applications of the "super grass" bamboo.
Please drop him a line, let's influence the world in a positive way!
Cheers.
