Originally from Germany I have lived and worked in the Netherlands since the end of the last century. Currently I am a self employed specialist for Microsoft Office.
I have made compost and grown herbs since I have had access to a garden. At some point I discovered that I am really only interested in edible plants and from that point forward my vegetable garden extended every year. Once I met the word Permaculture I was sold. I was going to follow the PDC just for my thirst of knowing the details but found that the PDC connected the dots in what I already knew. I have been so inspired that I want to become a Permaculture consultant.
Currently I am involved in an ecological vegetable and flower community garden which I got to design. So even though it was not intended as a Permaculture project initially it has now become one through the back door. Most of the permablitz will happen in 2014.
In september 2013 I made the initial design (draft) for community garden De Groene Hemel at Waalre, The Netherlands. We have started the implementation and are going to implement more in 2014.
