It is great to connect with so many like minded people. To introduce myself, like many mumbaites, I live in the concrete jungle Mumbai with dreams of living in a green paradise. I need to confess though, the city has been good to me and with a family with young kids decided to make the best of what I could.

By training, I am a commerce graduate and was working in our family business. Also, had my own business till a couple of years ago. Simultaneously, I was working on the dream of having a green space of my own and got involved more and more as time passed.

Finally, we bought a small patch of untilled land in 2011 and donned our boots and hat. We called this Chaitraban (The spring forest) and I have been stuck to it since then and have made considerable progress. I read about permaculture on the net and got addicted to everything related to it. Read about Rico Zook and watched him on utube. Watched and learnt from utube for some time while experimenting at Chaitraban. I was lucky enough to meet Rico and attend his workshop in Mumbai and now looking forward to pursue a PDC with him, in Bali.
