Over the past year I have taken the first step to being self employed. I have started a business called ' Radicle Routes' with the personal directive to provide permaculture services from a general contractor approack. Many clients don't knwo where to begin with a permaculture installation.. they just know they want it done and that it will benefit them. I draw upon my experince in utility construction to create water harvesting infrastructure, apply techniques that require heavy equipment and project management utilizing my network of permaculture businesses in my area.
My first major client is requesting a farm design for a certified organic farm/ health retreat with which he will allow CSA members to have a access to certified organic growing areas and education on how to ensure you are getting the best food possible using the means you have available. ALso, he is a doctor that will be providing a service to allow people to remove their heavy metal burden and start fresh with a new perspective and new habits.
Currently I am designing a Keyline shelter belt that will also funtion as holistic livestock structure, provide food and attract beneficial insects.
Updates to follow.
Cheers!
Joshua
