It's been a while

update on the last year

It's been a long while since my last update so here's what has been happening....

Lots of work has been done on the demonstration site in Bittern, including some earthworks (2 large swales), there are more earthworks happening most likely towards the end of summer when the land drys a little more and dam walls can be compacted properly.

I am very pleased to have been appointed to co-facillitator for the pdc's at southern Cross Permaculture institute in south Gippsland and have just taught on my 3rd course there!

I am hoping to commence short courses run at my own site in the near future and will hopefully be advertising a 2 day Intro to permaculture course for mid next year.

Anyway lots going on, I'll try to be less slack with the updates going forward ;-0

Carolyn Payne-Gemmell : Good one Andy, I was wondering how things are going, all good I see! Please put up some photos of the swales, and also the dam building when it happens. And don't hesitate to come and visit if you are over this way. All the best for 2013.

andy macey : Thanks Carolyn...... I certainly will visit if I find myself up that way!! I had some fun trying to dig one of the dams the other day suffice to say that borrowing a 1.5 ton excavator was akin to taking a knife to a gun fight, not a huge dam but I am definitely need to get something a little larger to work with
