Exciting news! This week our organisation; Kalen, platform for self realization and sustainable ways of life, got land near Skopje. It is about 1000m2 or even a little bigger. Saturday I will have the chance to see it.

And then it all starts. Our first Permaculture practice. I am excited. Although some of us just finished a PDC course given by Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton in Istanbul last November and are eager to put it into practice, there are those beginner questions; How to get started? What is the best approach to turn this piece of land into a fruit and veggie self sustainable paradise? How to make this a Permaculture education centre from the start? And so on. There is a lot to be learned this year!

I will keep you updated about our first babysteps into this Permaculture adventure.
