I am welcoming a crew of like minded folks to come and join me at Fonte da Junca to help create the first swales for the Food Forest Garden for our soon to become a small Permaculture Education Centre. We shall be surveying, marking contours, assessing how much ground cover will be needed, trees, bushes plants etc. as well as learning about their required distances, their needs, companions and guilds. Whilst the earthworks is being done we shall be preparing and organising ourselves before the rains commence to give life to our Gaia's Garden. It is all about timing so from begining to the end it will be all go!
We shall need help in the kitchen and home as well as on site.
We will be giving out cetificates from The School of Life to all those who attend this work shop. This is all for fun but it will show that you have understood and completed tasks within the Permaculture 'umbrella' when you apply to do these types of works else where. We are a global community and this is all placed in trust.
There is no fee.I rather it be donation based as this is my first time and I too am learning as we go! We shall all gain skills together.
Expect a bit of a shindig after completion of the Project!
Please contact me asap so as to book your space!
