After being quiet on the net it is time for some action!
Almost a year ago I did a kind of Permaculture Pilgrim in Australia!
It was an amazing great learing process. I feel so lucky that I got the chance to do this trip!!
I started with a 10-week intern at Zaytuna farm. Where I followed the courses, Earthworkers course; Urban Permaculture course, Teachers training course, Soil Biology Course, Ais workers course. Before the course started I worked on the farm. Collecting food for the animals, Feeding the chickens, goats, cows. Also milking the goat and the cow.
Als I built a big foodsolar dryer. So that the next intern can dry their own fruits and veggies for the winter!
Later my voyage went to The foodforest in Adelaide. One of the most lovely places I ever been to! Miissing it stil very much. It was great learning process by working on the farm, obeserving lots, taking notes and asking many question in which they took so much time to answer. I thank them for their patience and answering all my questions.
I felt so lucky to be able to stay at Melliodora. With David Holmgren and Sue Dennet. It was such a learning process! It was amazing to work with David. He is such a thoughtfull person.
My trip went on... Finally I could reunite with Darren and Lisa, they are such a inspiration warm loving, sharing people. I just love them! Wished I could stay there longer...
"The Plummery" Was such an Inspiration!!! I learned so much! The best place of City permaculture! Everybody in the city should live like that!. Kat and Nik. Thanks so much to share every knowledge you could share in those amazing 3 weeks. In the 3 weeks I followed a the group Dynamic teaching course. I truly think that every teacher should take this course!
Milkwood was an other great learning process! It is a farm full in action and developement there is so much to do that is what I loved about it. Also AMAZING food from their own garden.
After my pilgrim I moved to Europe where went to Portugal l to follow the Teachers course of Rosemary Morrow! She is an amazing teacher!
Back in the Netherlands I followed an Aquaponics workshop and got deeply involved with it for the whole summer. I assisted the following workshop in Aquaponics.
After al my experiences and note taking I left the west moved back to my home base Curacao. Taking my steps, following my dreams to start introducing permaculture on Curacao and hopefully to the Caribbean....
Time for Action!!
First things first....
