This Course is based on Bill Mollison's Permaculture Design Manual. It will be a full intensive 72 hr lecture course. Lectures are taught by Dwarakanath Jnaneswar Ekkirala and may be a couple of guest speakers. There will be a design exercise where in the students can get aquainted with the design process. There will be additional emphasis on the Indian scenario and permaculture.

4. Methods of Design
5. Patterns
6. Climate and Climatic Factors
7. Landscapes and Landscape Profiles
8. Soils
9. Water
10. Trees, Forests and Integrated Land Use systems
11. Earth-Works
12. Climatic Design - Housing, Gardens, Broadscale Permaculture, Appropriate Technologies
13. Aquaculture - Basics and Applications
14. Permaculture Nation
Along with this, there is design exercises along the way as well. And tips on Data-base building for design applications. 
It is highly recommended that the students bring a laptop (or something similar, to do quick web-searches when needed, etc.) although a computer with Internet connection will be available for the students. Bring sweaters and blankets as a cold wave could hit.

Course fee is 15,000 Rs. including food and stay. Food will be vegetarian.
