High Tunnel grant

We recently were notified we are the recipient of a grant to build a high tunnel on our farm in Holt, Missouri, USA.  We're very excited to be able to extend our growing season.  I will ensure we have some photo updates for you all as we assemble it and begin using it.

Sorry, it's exciting news for us and I just wanted to share with people who understood.

Linda Morrison : Hi Dan. Congratulations, on your PRI Certification and also on this grant. I have just been watching Eliot Coleman's video "Winter Harvest" and he seems to be an amazing expert not only on tunnels but on growing and making a living on winter crops. I´m interested in hearing more about your tunnel design. So keep us updated.

Dan Grubbs : Cindy, Linda and Corey ... thanks! I do hope to document the entire process from construction to first crop layout and growth. Since we'll be assembling the tunnel later in the summer, we won't have a full veg crop in their before the growing season ends, but we will start early in February getting in a full veg system inside. I have to grow in a certain way for the grant prescription period so as to not invalidate the grant. I'm looking forward to this whole process. Dan
