Building a small swale

Posted by Javier Cosp about 10 years ago

I am building a small swale to keep the water in the field

I am building a small swale to keep the water in the field. It is more tricky than I thougt.

When rain falls a huge amount of water goes downhill. I am trying to keep it in the fields with our orchard.

Javier Cosp : The swale is more a channel that directs the water to a depression. But 3 months later it doesnt work properly yet.
