A Palestinian, graduate of Psychology and Musicology, Independent filmmaker, a husband and a father continuously searching for a meaningful life in harmony with nature, one that doesn't feed the consumerist system.
In 2011, he came to Turkey as a WWOOFer and ended up managing an off-the-grid ecological educational camp for 3 years. This is where he started seeking solutions to ecological problems resulting from wrong farming practices through living, implementing, observing, learning, and lots of readings ranging from Masanobu Fukuoka to Toby Hemenway, Bard Lancaster and many other active Permies who wrote amazing books, and of course Bill Mollison. That allows him to gain experience and devote more and more of his time to Permaculture, focusing on water harvesting and agroforestry.
He founded Mostadam© for Permaculture design, education and consultancy for implementing projects of self sufficiency and ecological development, both for private properties and socially oriented projects. Where the main focus in addition to inspiring more people to care for nature is designing-implementing conceptual edible landscaping in urban settings.
His latest project GreenMapPalestine.ps is a website that will encompass the endless green possibilities in Palestine on an interactive map to help supporting the green network and spread the ecological culture for local self sufficiency.
