I am Architect & Urban Planner. Working in Dubai as LEED/ Sustainability Consultant. Ideology of Sustainable development have been in me from my college days and have followed in my career. My B.Arch thesis was on 'Exploring Agri waste in building technology'.
In India, had worked with NGO called COSTFORD - which works on construction principles of Dr Laurie Baker and practiced cost effective building technologies & climate responsive architecture.
Came across Permaculture while internet surfing on sustainable architecture. Have completed PDC in Darjeeling in nov 2013 and hoping to make permaculture a way of life.
Keen interest in joining pc or organic farms to get 'hands- on' experience.
Recently visited a family farm in Kathmandu, Nepal - Sunrise Farm. Had wonderful time with lovely family and the greenery around. Tried a hand in growing herbs in banana log. Planning to visit their major farm in Surkhet in near future.
