Nichole Fausey, a 12 year veteran of unschooling, has started many groups and communities around the philosophy. She has been active in transforming and transcending traditional methods of thinking and being, as well as providing support to families who are living this life of unconventional child-rearing. She believes that children are whole human beings from the time they are born and should be treated as such. She further thinks that adults need time to change what they've been taught for the benefit of their children, themselves and the benefit of future society. Thus, Nichole is particularly passionate about the second tenet of Permaculture, Care of People.
