I completed my online PDC with Geoff Lawton in 2015. initially worried about the idea of studying at a distance and not actually getting my hands dirty, the sheer amount of information, the positive and attentive interaction between Geoff and his students, and the ability to take as much time as needed to digest the material quickly reassured me. I am now convinced that a PDC should be about learning theory and design, not about accumulating practical experience: the structure provided by a good PDC makes knowing what experience is necessary - and how to both acquire it and what to do with it - so much easier!
