The autumn immediately after completing my course in organic market gardening at La Ferme de Sainte Marthe I moved with my wife to Japan. After spending some months in Tokyo doing research I decided upon Nagano as the perfect place to move to and set up a permaculture micro-farm. But before i did so I decided to get some more experience, this time in the mountains of Japan, in order to get to know the region and the community.
