ALOHA
I was born into the solar energy industry, my dad was/is a pioneer and our family runs both Inter-Island Solar Supply here in Hawaii from which we distribute solar and other ecological products such as composting toilets to contractors, and SunEarth in California where we manufacture solar water heating collectors. In 2003 after graduation from Pitzer College in California I went to Australia for my PDC and have ever since enjoyed the framework permaculture has provided for my life. In the summer of 2007 my family purchased a three acre parcel of "agricultural" land on the North Shore of Oahu and have been albeit slowly, been developing this site.
My goal is to facilitate flourishing communities where healthy economies are nourished through ecological roots, expand our environmental choir, provide quality products to support improved quality of life. I believe in resourcefulness, creativity, awareness & interconnection.
Join Hawaii's growing Permaculture community for a full day Saturday and an optional day of hands-on practice Sunday. $50 for all day (8am-10pm)- POTLUCK lunch, $25 evening only (5pm-10pm)- DINNER included. Camping Sat night $5 per person, collected onsit
