About Chief Phillip 'Cloudpiler' Landis

I have the honor and the privilege of being elected Principle/Medicine Chief of the Nemenhah Indigenous People, an Inter-Tribal, Inter-Discipline Native American Traditional Organization, for the past ten years. As a Doctor of Natural Medicine, and a Mentor and Instructor of Medicine Men and Women, traditional and indigenous values make up a great portion of my discourse. I am called to guide thousands in their pursuit of a more sustainable way going forward.

The Nemenhah Mission is my Mission also:

Heal the Individual
Heal the Family
Heal the Community
Heal the Society
Heal the Planet

I am charged with creating Core Curriculi to address and teach Nemenhah Medicine Men and Women the theory and practice of these mission elements. As far as I am concerned, Permaculture is the only viable solution that we have to offer our children and our children's children. These are the principles our forefathers lived by. It is time we return to them. Restoring the ancient systems of life have become my own personal mission, and, as long as I continue to be elected to Head Chief, it will be the best expression of the Nemenhah Mission as well.

The Nemenhah Model Permavillage is entering its second year. This season, we will be able to benefit from the soil building we did last year. Each year will see more restoration - of soil and natural systems, and of the Sacred Ways of the Nemenhah. It is good for us to be here!

Education:
PDC from April Sampson/Kelly
ANMCAB Board Certified Naturopath
Shahaptan Guide, Shahaptan Carrier, Shahaptan Shirt
