In the recent 4 years I've been to several courses related to Permaculture Design, to learn as much as possible (from teachers and participants) about teaching permaculture related content. Content is important but I keep a special attention on ways / contexts / strategies / rythms / patterns that "modulate", emerge along, the content and have a special impact on learning.
My favorite way of facilitating knowledge is "working"-"by doing". It is the pure discovery and immersion that leads to "time expansion" and delight in co-creating tangible patterns and gaining embodied experience.
I'm grateful for this opportunity to immerse in this Permaculture Design Learning Process in Sesimbra - Portugal.
We have been spoiled that we have had many different "international" Permaculture courses- teachers in Portugal in recent 3-4 years: Lesley Martin, André Soares, Doug Crouch, Max Lindegger, Steve Jones, Peter Cow, Rosemary Morrow, Darren Doherty (RegenAG) and now Bernard Alonso. And a base of resident teachers is emerging out of our "iberic" cultural rich soup.
