this winter has been gladly wet and cold in Chao Sobral, Portugal.

kiwis and kakis were harvested, tangerines are heavily loaded (citrus circle with grey water to mulched pit)

trees are mostly planted, vines will be pruned.

bambu, thornless and thorny honey locust trees transplanted.

maritime pines are thinned and pruned.

acacia dealbata is pruned, forage for goats and green manure.

muleberry and fig cuttings are laid in the soil to get new trees.

strawberry trees will be copicced for fire wood and forage for goats.

summer/autumn growth of perenial grasses are trimmed for goat bedding - root decay, feed the soil and leaf renewal.

1 year growth of dry fern (carbon) is collected for dry bedding for chickens.
