Fruit Trees For All

Posted by Nicole Vosper over 12 years ago

A new community project is making fruit trees available to buy at a wholesale price. Order yours now!

Fruit Trees for All is again happening in Glastonbury, so please embrace the opportunity to order super-affordable fruit trees for yourselves, friends and family. Bulk orders for community projects are also more than welcome.

The aim is to make it easy and cheap for people in the area to get high quality fruit trees and plant them in their own gardens - we buy them wholesale and sell them with a tiny mark up to cover printing leaflets - that's all, so you can get a fruit tree for nearly half of what they cost from nurseries or garden centres!

We have delicious dessert apples, juicy pears and popular plums starting at £8.50 only! Stakes, guards and ties are also available at a wholesale price.

All you need to do is print off the order form from the Transition Glastonbury website (there will be a permanent button on the front page until the offer ends) and post it to the address on the leaflet.

Fruit Trees for All is a joint project of Transition Glastonbury, Transition Wells and Wedmore Green Group, so you can select which pick-up point is best for you.

You can send in your order anytime between now till 31st October 2011. Leaflets with the order forms on the back will also be in the Transition Glastonbury Information Centre open every Tuesday from 12-2pm. We will also be taking orders at the harvest show. Trees will be delivered on a date in January and will be available for collection in Glastonbury, Wells and Wedmore. Before you take your tree away there will be a tree planting and tree care demonstration.

Order your fruit trees now! Spread the word!
