Building a collective permaculture toolset means developing templates for sharing and evolving the teaching practice of all permaculture teachers.

Here is the advanced model I have been working with to offer next step permaculture work for my PDC students in the form of integral support for doing a Diploma Project.

Advanced Permaculture Diploma Support Course and Resilience Training

For those interested in evolving their life skills and having support in becoming more sustainable lives i have worked with Robin Wheeler and 10 guest teachers to develop Ground Training, an intensive course in sustainability education for practical life on the land. Learn about living on the planet and sustaining yourself in a time of great transition with the option of working towards a two year Permaculture Diploma.
This class is a marriage of permaculture theory and sustainability skills.  Included are many hands on practical activities led from many different guest speakers as well as a year long mapping and design process.

In our current environment of financial, climatic and political shift and change, it is hard to find our own feet and sense of security. These classes cover many of missing elements in current  teachings and add resilience and creativity to everyday behaviours. Participants will feel better equipped for both short and long term worst case scenarios, including earthquake, weather shifts and food shortages - and at best, will leave us lighter on the planet.

Already have your Permaculture Design Certification? This advanced course will deepen your practice. Learn about living on the planet and sustaining yourself in a time of great transition while earning your two year Permaculture Diploma. Add depth to your resume and portfolio as well and enhance your core life toolkit. With this certificate you will be better equipped to practice and teach permaculture as well as supplying sophisticated permaculture consulting and design for others.  Included is a two year mapping and design project, permaculture teaching practice, advanced design games, and permaculture video streams.

Some people say that Winter Solstice, 2012 is the end of the world. We say that conscious living with practical food security skills is of increasing importance in a world spun out of control on technology, toxification and resource extraction. We say it will be helpful to have an action plan for disaster regardless of eschatological prophesy or the climaxing ecological crisis. Join with a small group of dedicated individuals to explore permaculture for the next two years of our lives while anchoring into your land, be it owned or rented.
