Online PRI PDC Course by Geoff Lawton

Just finished the Online PRI PDC Course by Geoff Lawton and implementing them on my Farm.

Not the same after taking the Online PRI PDC Course and Earthworks by PRI Director Geoff Lawton. The 72 hour Online course actually became a 4 month online video course with a quiz and a final design project. Exactly how Bill Mollison was suppose to teach the course. No practicals or going to the farm to get dirty. Those already comes with the territory.

Got both my certificate and online credentials. Ready to spread the word.

Implemented a bird feeder on trees, seed balls, modified chinampas, keyline trenches to divert water runoffs, swales, ponds, and humanure toilet so far. Got a grant with NCRS for Earthworks and will have my river, another farm entrance, and a couple of swales by the end of the year. With so much projects to implement, I believe the farm will be in maximum production in a year or two.

At that time, I will take the farm to another level as a Permaculture Collaborative project. A place where Permies will be able to implement and see practical methods of Permaculture.

Mark Domingo : Thank you both. Did not know I'd get a reply right away. It is a work in progress and with knowledge comes the awesome "production by design!!!" as stated many times by Geoff Lawton. I wanted to also include crop pairing on the seed balls as well as chop and drop before the rainy season. Did not want animals yet on the farm as they may disappear or run rampant. Implementing bird houses at the highest point for runoff nutrient rich water seemed like a better idea. Will post picture soon =)

By going to the dashboard area, we can see how everyone is doing on their own projects and/or careers. A good way to keep in touch too.
